Palaquium xanthochymum is a tree in the Sapotaceae family. It grows up to 40 metres (130 ft) tall. Inflorescences bear up to five flowers. The fruits are oblong, up to 3.5 cm (1 in) long. The specific epithet xanthochymum is from the Greek meaning "yellow latex". The timber has been used for boat-building. Habitat is mixed swamp and dipterocarp forests from sea-level to 400 metres (1,300 ft) altitude. P. xanthochymum is found in found in Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Java and Borneo.
