Palaquium leiocarpum is a tree in the Sapotaceae family. It grows up to 30 metres (100 ft) tall. The bark is brownish to reddish grey. Inflorescences bear up to six flowers. The fruits are ellipsoid or round, up to 2.5 centimetres (1 in) long. The specific epithet leiocarpum is from the Greek meaning "smooth fruit". Habitat is mixed swamp forest, mixed dipterocarp forest and kerangas forest. P. leiocarpum is found in Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo and Sulawesi.
