Pablo Alvaro

Pablo Alvaro (c. 9th century) was a knight of Jewish ancestry from Cordoba, then in the territory of Muslim Spain, who voluntarily converted to Christianity.

In 840, Alvaro began a correspondence with the former Christian deacon Bodo, a convert to Rabbinical Judaism, wherein each tried to convince the other to return to their old faith. Many of their letters have been preserved.
