Biography
Vinayachandran was born in Meladoor, Thrissur. He did his B.Sc in Physics from Christ College, Irinjalakuda and M.Sc in Oceanography from Indian Institute of Science. He received his Doctorate Degree in Oceanography in 1996 from Indian Institute of Science.
