P L Thenappan is a Tamil cinema producer. He owns the production company called Sri Rajlakshmi Film (P) Ltd. He debuted as a producer with the Tamil Film Kadhala Kadhala starring Kamal Haasan and Prabhu Deva which was released on 6 April 1998. Till date he has produced about 14 films and his latest being Tamil film Ayyanar starring Aadhi and Meera Nandhan. He is a producer known for making big budget films and at the same time promotes encouraging fresh talents as well.

PL Thenappan has acted in small role as 'Tea Master' in Muthu where Rajini and Meena's "Irukki anaichi Umma Tharu" fun begins... Also acted as Villain in the Tamil movie 'Nellai Santhipu' in the year 2012. He has played an important role in the Tamil movie 'Kurangu Bommai' (2017) directed by first-time director Nithilan.
