Oxysepala grandimesensis

Oxysepala grandimesensis, the Cream Rope Orchid, was previously known as Oxysepala grandimesensis is only known from the Big Tableland in Queensland, Australia at an altitude of from 600-800m on the small upper branches of rainforest trees.

Description

The stems of this orchid have brown bracts and are sparsely branched. The flowers, 6-8 x 5-7mm, are wholly white and are on usually single stems 1.5mm long. They flower in May and June. The dark green pseudobulbs are naked. The leaves are also dark green on stalks 4-5 mm long and are fleshy and narrowly grooved.
