2008: Australian Idol

Owl Eyes Meet Owl Eyes Our New Girl Crush the Lala

In 2008, Addamo successfully auditioned for the 6th season of Australian Idol. She reached the finals, where she finished 11th place in the competition.

Post-Idol career

In 2010, Addamo released her debut EP Faces. She also featured on the Illy single "It Can Wait", which was voted #29 on the Triple J Hottest 100 for 2010.

In 2011, she released her second EP Raiders. She featured twice on the 2011 Triple J Hottest 100. The song "Raiders" was voted #64 and her cover of Foster the People's Pumped Up Kicks polled at #28, which is her highest result to date.

In 2012, she released the EP Crystalised and a single named "Love Run Dry", along with a music video.

In 2013, she released her debut album Nightswim. It reached #28 in the Australian Albums Chart.
