Owatonna public library mannequin challenge


The Owatonna Public Library is a library in Owatonna, Minnesota, United States. Its building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. It is a member of Southeastern Libraries Cooperating, the southeastern Minnesota library region.

Contents

Owatonna's Free Public Library was established in 1896 by a legacy donation of $5,000 from an Owatonna citizen. Public funds for a library were voted in 1898 and 1899. The building is a two-story Classical Revival structure designed by Frank A. Gutterson of Des Moines, Iowa architecture firm Smith and Gutterson. Construction started in 1899 and it was officially dedicated on February 22, 1900.
