Ot el bruixot (Ot the warlock) is a comic book series created by Picanyol in 1971, the most popular of his author. It is composed of dumb jokes of few vignettes (of 1 to 5). Where the text only appears when the same characters of the comic can read it and in the constant onomatopoeias, including those that refer to their spells.

Editorial path
This character appeared for the first time in the double number 215/216 of the childish magazine "Cavall Fort" in 1971, and has appeared uninterruptedly in the magazine from number 218.
From 2009, and to celebrate the 40 years of the character, and until 2011, Norma Editorial has published three volumes compilations intending to collect all the comic strips of Ot.
The stories of Ot, el bruixot
His wanderings have been included in the collections of Ot, el bruixot of the Editorial Pirene, both Castilian and Catalan, and also the editorial La Galera produced a collection that calls Ot, el bruixot. Edicions Baula also published, in Catalan, tales (no jokes) childish with Ot like protagonist.

Argument and characters
The main character is Ot, a wizard dressed of black that with his magic fixes distinct situations. As soon what it does it is help others as pranks other people (with frequency to the rich strong and powerful).

Despite going to the old dress, appear a lot of references to the modern times that do not have to consider anachronisms if it takes into account that Ot has the power to travel in the time.
Adaptations and legated
It has done a representation with puppets with this character, and has been the protagonist of the Juegotes, computer games, edited by Multimedia Barcelona.
In the municipality of MoiĆ , from where it originated Picanyol, there is a monument devoted to Ot.
