Publication history
The osquip first appeared in the original first edition Fiend Folio (1981).
The osquip appeared in second edition in the Monstrous Compendium Volume Two (1989), and appeared under both the "mammal" and "rat" headings in the Monstrous Manual (1993). The osquip was further developed in Dragon #227 (March 1996) in "The Ecology of the Osquip".
The osquip appeared in third edition in Dragon #282 (April 2001). The osquip also appeared for the Forgotten Realms setting in Races of Faerûn (2003).
Description
An osquip resembles a hairless, many-legged rodent the size of a dog.
