Contents

In May 2014, the Victorian State Government announced a grade separation project, to replace the North Road level crossing. The Level Crossing Removal Authority estimate a completion date of August 2016. This will involve the station being rebuilt. The station temporarily closed on 25 March 2016, to allow for it to be built below street level. The new station opened on August 29, 2016.

The Up face of the former ground level island platform was brought into use on 28 June 1987.
