ORIX USA is a financial services group established in 1981 in New York City, New York. ORIX USA headquarters moved to 1717 Main St. in Dallas, Texas, in 2003. The company has principal offices in New York; Los Angeles; Columbus, Ohio and Minneapolis, with satellite offices in other cities. Its parent company, ORIX Corporation, is a Tokyo-based, publicly owned international financial services company with operations in 36 countries and regions worldwide. ORIX Corporation is listed on the Tokyo (8591) and New York Stock Exchanges (IX).

ORIX USA and its family of companies offer investment capital and asset management services to clients in the corporate, real estate, municipal and energy sectors, while holding $6 billion of assets and managing an additional $29 billion, approximately.

In 2010, ORIX USA acquired RED Capital Group which provides financing for multifamily, senior living and health care projects through various FHA and Fannie Mae Programs. RED Capital Group continues to operate nationwide from its Columbus, Ohio headquarters.

In December 2010, ORIX USA acquired a majority interest in Mariner Investment Group, a manager of hedge funds and alternative investments with approximately $11.5 billion of assets under management. ORIX USA created a subsidiary, ORIX USA Asset Management to hold it’s investment in Mariner and potential other investments in the asset management space.

ORIX USA and its subsidiaries employ more than 500 employee, spanning nearly 20 offices across the U.S. and Brazil.

ORIX Ventures specializes in designing highly customized financing solutions for high-growth companies with investments starting around $5 million and growing to $50 million. The team has committed over $1 billion to more than 100 companies.

ORIX Leveraged Finance offers cash flow based debt and equity capital to middle-market companies throughout North America. With flexible investment structures ranging from $5 million to $50 million, ORIX Leveraged Finance underwrites growth financings, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and more.

ORIX Mezzanine & Private Equity offers a variety of junior debt and equity financing options for lower mid- to middle-market companies throughout North America. Typical investments range from $10 million to $30 million, with the capacity to grow. Investments are in a wide variety of industries and transaction types including buyouts and acquisitions, growth financings, recapitalizations and special situations. Investing the firm’s own proprietary capital has allowed for a flexible and long-term approach to investments that are often not afforded by traditional investment firms.

ORIX Real Estate is a fully integrated commercial real estate finance, asset management and investment company which provides a wide variety of loans and securities backed by both traditional and specialized property types, including self-storage, hospitality, health care and more.

ORIX Energy Capital provides private debt and equity capital across a broad range of energy-related companies, including exploration and production, midstream, services and alternative energy, throughout the U.S. and Canada. The team specializes in designing flexible debt capital ranging from $10 million to $50 million, with equity capital available alongside a debt facility or as a standalone investment.
