Oren Alexander was born on July 2, 1987 in Miami Beach, Florida. He has three brothers: a twin brother, Alon; Tal, who is his business partner; and his oldest brother Niv. As a teenager, Alexander worked alongside his father, Shlomy Alexander, developing high-end custom homes in Miami Beach and Aspen, CO. He obtained his real estate license at age 18.

Real Estate

While at the University of Colorado-Boulder Alexander interned for a local developer for 2 years. After graduation, he moved to New York to break into the real estate industry. At age 21 he sold his first property, a $8,175 million penthouse at the Park Imperial.

In 2011, Alexander represented both the seller and the buyer in South Florida’s most expensive residential transaction, dubbed “The $60 Million Dream House” by the Wall Street Journal. Alexander specializes in luxury and trophy homes, often with $20+ million price tags. In 2012, he marketed over $175 million in property. “I sold a house in Miami that my dad built for $47 million over the summer. The price for that house at 3 Indian Creek was a Miami record.” he told The New York Post in 2013. “My goal is to sell trophy homes worldwide. There are only a few buyers for this type of real estate in the whole world. Knowing them means I can sell them in New York, Miami, St. Tropez, anywhere.” The sale of the Indian Creek property solidified the brothers’ position as a bridge between developers, high-end architects and the art-loving hedge fund buyers looking for trophy properties.

Alexander appeared in Forbes Magazine’s 2012 “30 Under 30: Real Estate” and was ranked #1 in The Real Deal Magazine’s 2011 “Top 35-and-under NYC real estate players.” He has been profiled in The New Yorker, The Real Deal, The Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, Business Insider and Fox Business with Gerrie.

In the September 2013 issue of Details Magazine, Oren was featured in a story titled Meet the New Rock Stars of Real Estate, where Oren was featured alongside the other top real estate brokers in the United States.

On January 30th, 2014, it was announced that Oren Alexander and Tal Alexander made history by breaking the $100 million sales barrier in New York City. Oren and Tal represented the nation of Qatar in buying an Upper East Side townhouse which is currently an art gallery.

Oren appeared in the Fall 2015 issue of Cultured magazine in an article titled House Call where he talks about his new Miami project Faena House, the 5-star luxury oceanfront residences in Miami Beach by Argentine developer Alan Faena. Oren and his brother Tal Alexander are heading up sales for the property, which Oren describes as “the first project to have a true art component”. In line with his current projects, The Alexander Team brothers’ goal is “To be the Larry Gagosian of real estate.”
