Opportunity charter school
Opportunity Charter School is an American public school in the Harlem neighborhood of the Manhattan borough of New York City, New York. It serves approximately 400 students in grades 6–12. It was chartered by the New York State Board of Regents in 2004. The charter school serves disabled and academically struggling students. A fight to renew its charter was won in 2011 with a two-year renewal granted and the school's website reported a five-year renewal in 2012.

Controversy
On May 2, 2016, Opportunity Charter School in Harlem, New York reportedly rescinded an offer for Mr. Pena to speak in the school due to his endorsement of Donald Trump. In what has been described as discrimination against political views, Mr. Pena reiterated the fact that he had spoken at Oxford University after the incident with no issues.

On the recent Larry Elders and Dennis Prager nationally syndicated radio show, an anonymous Joe, voiced his displeasure about the Opportunity Charter School in Harlem, New York, on both programs. Larry Elder compared the incident to Connie Rice being shunned away due to political correctness in which he described it as: "Outrageous."
