History
OneScreen was founded in 2009 by CEO Atul Patel, who was also a founding member of Optimal Inc, LeadiD, and LeadROI. OneScreen’s clients range from large broadcasters and magazine conglomerates to bloggers and YouTube Channel owners and Multi-Channel Networks. On October 3, 2011, the Wall Street Journal and OneScreen announced a partnership to develop applications for several device platforms including Yahoo!, Samsung, Sony, Vizio, Boxee, and others. On February 2, 2013 Wochit Inc. announced a platform that gives web publishers access to video news through partnerships with Grab Media, OneScreen and Rightster. On July 30, 2013, OneScreen and The Young Turks Network announced the TYT Network Roku Channel.
Technology
OneScreen is used by video producers, digital publishers, and advertisers to establish networking profiles, access a digital video marketplace, and utilize a complete video platform that includes a content management system, with video publishing tools, online video analytics, custom HTML5, and Flash video players and applications. Digital publishers can access a sell side ad platform to manage ad inventory and revenue from video advertising as well as a video ad platform to serve and deliver IAB compliant video ads.
