Personal life
He was born on October 30, 1984 in Thrissur district of Kerala state. He started his film career after his studies from Royal College of Engineering and Technology, Akkikavu, Thrissur. He did his schooling at De-Paul, Choondal.
Career
His passion towards film made him to debut the film Happy Wedding. He runs his own construction company apart from film making. Upcoming film named "Chunkzz" is in pre production stage.
Achievements
Directional debut Happy Wedding had crossed 100 days of successful shows in Kerala screens that too without prominent film stars.Only less than 40 debutant directors (Malayalam Film Industry) are lucky enough to cross more than 100 days in their first attempt. He also introduced at around 35 new faces in his first directional venture. Other surprising thing is that Omar is not having any previous background related to film industry and studied about direction and all related things from online tutorials. Received lot of wishes for the film from prominent personalities in the Malayalam Film industry including producer like Listin Stephen for taking big risk and making the film a big success.
