The Omaha Rollergirls are Omaha's premiere all-female flat-track roller derby sports-league based in Omaha, Nebraska. The league currently consists of two teams, the Omaha All-Stars and AAA (an acronym that stands for: Attendance, Attitude, and Ability).

In 2010, Omaha qualified for the WFTDA North Central Playoffs for the first time, placing ninth in the tournament. In 2011, they were moved to the South Central Region (WFTDA), and qualified for the WFTDA South Central Playoffs at their first attempt, although they lost all their bouts to finish in tenth place.

History

  • 2006: The Omaha Rollergirls were founded with 14 players
  • 2008: Affiliated to the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA)
  • 2010: Competed in the 2010 WFTDA North Central Playoffs
  • 2011: The Omaha Rollergirls began leasing their own dedicated practice space called 'The Bunker'
  • 2012: Entered the Regional Tournament ranked 8th and advanced to finish the season ranked 7th.
  • 2013: WFTDA changes to a Division-based structure. Competed in WFTDA’s first ever Division 2 International Tournament and is currently ranked 65 out of 175 WFTDA leagues worldwide.
  • 2013: The Omaha Rollergirls were the 'Featured League' on WFTDA site
  • 2014: Competed in the 2014 WFTDA Division 2 Playoffs in Duluth, Minnesota
  • 2015: Voted 'Omaha Magazine's Best Sports Team'
  • 2015: The Omaha Rollergirls were ranked 79th out of 265 WFTDA leagues worldwide
  • 2015: The Omaha Rollergirls were selected to host the 2015 International WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs October 2–4

    The Omaha Rollergirls enjoy being a part of their community and lending a hand at events and fundraisers. Participating in the Polar Plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics, Color-Run,putting on Poker Run's for area charities, Beer Olympics, playing at Septemberfest, Community Day Sale, Relay for Life and more.
