Oliwia Sobieszek (born 6 April 1995) is a Polish born vocalist from Birmingham, England. Sobieszek currently provides lead vocals for doom metal band Kroh (Band) in which she joined in 2015. She has since released Precious Bones, Living Water and Altars with Kroh. Sobieszek is constantly praised for her vocals and is often referred to as being crucial for Krohs new purpose. Sobieszek has previously sung in the unknown metal band Red Inferno from Telford, England. She has sung in choirs and performed three YouTube covers (which has since been deleted). She is now featured on the metal archives website. Sobieszek attended New College in Wellington, Shropshire where she studied Music Performance, Psychology, Sociology, Polish and an Extended Project Qualification. She is studying Psychology at the University of Birmingham and has a twin sister, Karolina Sobieszek, who studies at the same university.

Red Inferno

Sobieszek provided vocals for Red Inferno up until 2013 when she left to pursue her university degree. She performed with multiple members, including one the original creators of Red Inferno. Red Inferno played a number at gigs, their most notable performance at The Place in Oakengates in 2013. The band was formed in 2010 with Sobieszek as the lead vocals and was originally a punk band, until 2012 when they changed members and styles. During this year, Sobieszek and Red Inferno played numerous gigs which Sobieszek was already being praised at.

Kroh

Sobieszek joined Kroh as their lead vocalist in 2015 after answering an advert Paul Kenney put out. Following her addition to the band, Kroh released Precious Bones which gave fans and new listeners the chance to hear a new, vamped up Kroh with Sobieszek. Kroh later released Living Water in 2015 which Sobieszek wrote the lyrics and catchy vocals. Altars is the latest release from Kroh and it showcases the range that Sobieszek has. Sobieszek, along with Kenney, wrote the entire 9 track album and mixed the final outcome. Altars has been released worldwide with fans from Canada receiving the doom quintets album. Sobieszek is one of the ladies of Damnation and has been featured in numerous articles where she is praised constantly. Sobieszek recently played the O2 Academy in Sheffield stage for HRH Doom vs Stoner, where they were hailed as one of the best bands of the day. Kroh has performed at numerous gigs such as Fear Fest in 2015, and have a myriad of reviews to back up their performances and their releases. Kroh performed their latest gig with SubRosa and DARKHER at The Rainbow in Birmingham and were rated as the best band that performed. Kroh regularly get reviewed in music outlets, a major one being Metal Hammer. Sobieszek is often compared to Siousixe and the Banshees.
