Oakridge is a light rail station operated by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). This station is served by VTA's Ohlone/Chynoweth–Almaden line, popularly known as the Almaden Shuttle. This station has one platform, and is only accessed by the street. There is no parking available at this station. The platform is at street level, and has one track for trains coming in and out of it. This is because the "Almaden Shuttle" uses 1 1-car train all day. Trains run back and forth between the line's three stations.

Oakridge station is located across Winfield Blvd from Westfield Oakridge Mall in southern San Jose, California.
History
This station is on the former right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Railroad's "Lick Branch," where there was also a track for loading building materials into freight cars. The rail line was abandoned in 1981.
