OCTAVE Business School is an educational institution imparting management education to graduates in and around areas in Nagpur (India). It was established in August 2010 in Nagpur, India. OCTAVE is a community driven initiative of the BITS Pilani Alumni. The name OCTAVE is derived from the fact that the founding team consists of eight BITS Pilani Alumni. OCTAVE owns news columns called Business Management Vista in education supplements of local newspapers - The Hitavada & The Times of India. The column is aimed at creating more awareness about management education in India.The School offers 2 years full-time Program and is affiliated to Sikkim Manipal University (SMU).

Program structure
Students at OCTAVE receive UGC approved MBA Degree and another degree in PGP (Post Graduate Program) in Business Leadership. The latter degree is a private one and is offered in autonomous mode. The MBA degree course is offered over four semesters. The PGP Program is split into 2 eleven months sub-programs PGP I and PGP II.
Admissions
Interested candidates have to take OCTAVE Admission Test (OAT) followed by Group Discussion (GD) /Extempore & Personal Interview (PI) round. Students who have already appeared for other competitive exams like CAT/MAT/CET/XAT/SNAP may request for exemption from OAT. It has been reported that OCTAVE gives more importance and preference to students for their performance in GD/PI than entrance exam (OAT). Admissions are based on merit basis & no reservation seats are available. The admission system emulates and is similar to admission system of BITS Pilani.
Infrastructure
OCTAVE's Nagpur campus is located at the outskirts of project MIHAN (Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur) at Rui, Nagpur behind Sun N Sand Hotel and is spread over 1.4 acres.
Industry partnerships (OBAG)
With view of helping out the SME sector in Nagpur region and address their business challenges, OCTAVE Business School has started an initiative called OBAG (OCTAVE Business Advisory Groups). Under OBAG, three to five OCTAVE students closely work with a CEO of a local SME along with a senior OCTAVE faculty to understand and solve their business challenges. Each OBAG project runs for a duration of four months. Typical OBAG projects include market research, online and offline marketing strategies, employee productivity study, financial analysis for SME operations etc.
OCTAVE Entrepreneurship Projects (OEP)
With a motive of promoting entrepreneurship among students, OCTAVE offers Entrepreneurship Projects compulsorily to each student in the first semester. Students form a group of 3-5 and are given seed capital one month before Diwali. The project involves all levels of Entrepreneurship beginning from idea brainstorming up to marketing & selling the final product or service. The total duration of the project is close to 2 months.
