  • History

Route 2 used to have its eastern terminus at Blair and its western terminus at Bayshore. It was often late because of the route's long length: 1hr 10min during non-peak times and as much as 1hr 40min during rush hour. A reason for this is that it went all the way through-town, crossing Downtown and making frequent stops. The route was split into route 2 to the west of the Rideau Centre and route 12 to the east.

    Headway

Route 2 runs every 20 minutes during weekdays and Saturdays, with service increasing to every 10 min during rush hour. 30 min service is provided on Sundays.
