As of the census of 2000, there were 56 people, 23 households, and 16 families residing in the township. The population density was 1.6 people per square mile (0.6/km²). There were 25 housing units at an average density of 0.7/sq mi (0.3/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 96.43% White, and 3.57% from two or more races.
There were 23 households out of which 21.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.6% were married couples living together, and 26.1% were non-families. 26.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.43 and the average family size was 2.82.
In the township the population was spread out with 21.4% under the age of 18, 5.4% from 18 to 24, 23.2% from 25 to 44, 30.4% from 45 to 64, and 19.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
