Nuyts Archipelago Conservation Park is a protected area located on St Peter Island and Eyre Island in the Nuyts Archipelago located off the west coast of Eyre Peninsula in South Australia about10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south and 25 kilometres (16 mi) south-east respectively of Ceduna. It was proclaimed in 1972 under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 to ‘conserve rare and endangered wildlife populations’. A substantial part of the park was excised in 2011 to create the Nuyts Archipelago Wilderness Protection Area. The conservation park is classified as an IUCN Category Ia protected area.
