Chart performance
The track debuted on the United States Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart at number 34 on 16 January 1999 and peaked at number 1 for one week from 6 March 1999. The song spent 11 weeks inside the top ten and 25 non-consecutive weeks in the top 40.
On the Billboard Latin Pop Airplay chart, the track also peaked at number 1 for one week but charted from 23 January 1999 to 5 February 2000, spending 34 non-consecutive weeks in the chart.
