Background
Nosaby Idrottsförening was formed in 1956 and has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past 20 years with the football first team progressing from Division 7 to the higher reaches of Division 3. The club now has more than 500 members of which over 300 are young people who participate in the club's 15 youth teams.
Since their foundation Nosaby IF has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. The club currently plays in Division 3 Södra Götaland which is the fifth tier of Swedish football. They play their home matches at the Nya Vallbjörka in Kristianstad.
Nosaby IF are affiliated to Skånes Fotbollförbund.
