Northwood mortgage
Northwood Mortgage is the first mortgage brokerage in Canada that offers special construction financing for non profit organizations that serve persons with disabilities, seniors, and their families. Northwood Mortgage was established in 1990.

In partnership with Adaptability Canada, the Accessible Community Loan Program is based on a three year term which allows non profits to make interest only payment in the first year. This program alleviates some financial pressure and allows non profit groups to focus on raising funds through different means during the second year of the term. The joint venture also offers the Age at Home loan and renovation solutions, helping family caregivers and seniors to easily finance, renovate, and install home accessibility equipment.
In 2015, Northwood Mortgage was nominated the Canadian Mortgage Award for Mortgage Brokerage of the Year 2014.
