Exemption from the Racial Discrimination Act 1975
Clause 132 of the NTNER Bill states that the provisions of it are classified as 'special measures' under the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 and therefore exempt from Part II of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 ("RDA").
Criticism and opposition
The Australian Human Rights Commission is opposed to the exemption of the NTNER Bill from the RDA.
