Northern Kentucky Youth Sinfonia

The Northern Kentucky Youth Sinfonia is an advanced high-school level string ensemble located at the Northern Kentucky School of Music in Lakeside Park, Kentucky. Started by Ellen Stephens in 2010, the Sinfonia has won numerous accolades, taking first in numerous competitions, including the prestigious WorldStrides Heritage competitions from 2010 through 2015. The Sinfonia has also premiered a number of works, most notably the regional premiere of Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living on November 16, 2014.
