History

Norris Craft was founded when Mac Crumley, Sr.'s fishing friends saw his wood boat that he had added a fiberglass layer to the hull, and wanted one. The company's first boat was built in 1954 a garage in downtown LaFollette, Tennessee. One thing that sets this company apart from others is their willingness and ability to custom design colors and trims. There are no "package" boats as with most other bass boat manufacturers. You can literally take an object into the factory and request that your boat be built the same color and the request is usually accommodated.
