Noah Lyles (born 18 July 1997) is an American sprinter. He attended T. C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia.

He won the gold medal in 200 m during the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. He won gold medals in 100 m and 4×100 m relay during the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland. His personal bests were: 10.14 (100) and 20.09 (200) both in Eugene, Oregon, on 26 and 27 June 2015. He improved his best on 200 m, on 9 July 2016, with 20.09 (Eugene again). Personal

He was a gymnast as a youth and started track and field at 12 years of age. His parents competed in Track and Field at Seton Hall University.
Prep

Lyles cleared 2.04 m (6 ft 8 1⁄4 in) as a high school junior. In November 2015, he received the same honor as 2015 Track and Field News high school boys athlete of the year.

In March 2016, Lyles won 200 meters at high school New Balance Nationals Indoor. In April 2016, Lyles was named boys track events MVP after winning 200 (20.48) and 100 meters (10.17) in the rain at 2016 Arcadia Invitational. In June 2016, Lyles won 100 meters (10.08) at USATF Junior (U20) Outdoor Championships.

In July 2016, Lyles placed fourth at 200 meters in 2016 United States Olympic Trials (track and field) in 20.09 (Wind: 1.6).
Professional

In July 2016, Lyles and his younger brother Josephus turned professional and signed with Adidas. In November 2016, Noah Lyles named 2016 Track and Field News high school boys athlete of the year.
