He won the gold medal in 200 m during the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. He won gold medals in 100 m and 4×100 m relay during the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland. His personal bests were: 10.14 (100) and 20.09 (200) both in Eugene, Oregon, on 26 and 27 June 2015. He improved his best on 200 m, on 9 July 2016, with 20.09 (Eugene again).
