Ningbo Zhicheng School International (NZSI) was established in 2010 by Chen Hui and is a part of Ningbo Zhicheng School, established in 1996. The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and is an authorized IB World School; the first IB World School in Zhejiang Province. NZS is able to take both mainland Chinese students and international students. In 2014, the school adopted the name: International School of Ningbo. The name change is reflective of a programatic shift to an American AERO (American Education Reaches Out) curriculum based on the United States Common Core State Standards. The school utilizes American textbooks and employs teachers primarily from the United States. Cavon Ahangarzadeh serves as the founding Head of School for the International School of Ningbo.
