Nijat Azad oglu Abasov (born May 14, 1995) is an Azerbaijani chess grandmaster. He became an International Master in 2009 and a grandmaster in 2010. He gained his third and final Grandmaster norm in the Azerbaijani Solidarity Day event in late December 2010, in which he placed first.
