Niggly Cave is located on the Junee River, in the Junee Cave State Reserve, at Latitude -42°43'48" and Longitude 146°35'23.99" adjacent to the Mount Field National Park in Tasmania, Australia. The nearest town is Maydena. The estimate terrain elevation above sea level is 456 metres and the local geology is permo-Triassic sediment. The area is covered with thick Sclerophyll forest.
