Nigel Dabingyaba is a Papua New Guinean football player who plays as a forward for Penang FA of the Malaysia Premier League and the Papua New Guinea national football team.

Club

Dabinyaba played for Hekari United and Lae City Dwellers in his Native Papua New Guinea. He appeared in the OFC Champions League for these clubs in every edition of the tournament between 2011-12 and 2016 except for 2014-2015.

Following his performance at the 2016 OFC Nations Cup, Dabingyaba was signed by Western Pride of the NPL Queensland in Australia on a short-term deal. At the time of his debut, Dabingyaba was the only current full international to play in the league and only the second capped international to play for the club. He made his debut for the club on 6 August 2016 in a victory against Moreton Bay United FC.

On 22 November 2016, it was announced that Dabinyaba had signed for New Zealand's Canterbury United of the Stirling Sports Premiership after a long pursuit of the player. He made two league appearances for the club during his short tenure.

In December 2016 it was announced that Dabinyaba was trialing with Penang FA of the Malaysia Premier League. His signing was announced along with the signings of three other players the following month.

International

Dabinyaba made his senior international debut for Papua New Guinea on 6 September 2014 in a friendly against Singapore. He scored his first two senior international goals during the 2016 OFC Nations Cup in an 8–0 victory over Samoa. Papua New Guinea went on to be the runners-up in the tournament after losing on penalties in the final to New Zealand. On 10 November 2016, Dabinyaba scored in a friendly against Iran.
