History
Nieuwsuur started in the new TV season 2010/2011 in succession to NOVA where the broadcaster VARA takes part, Officially a members broadcaster was still not allowed to take part in a TV program that was produced by a state broadcaster like the NOS, for a more independent sound with the new Current affairs program are the NOS and NTR the only coalition of the programs broadcaster, new mergers were the Ten O' clock edition of NOS Journaal and Studio Sport within the program.
