Nicolae Bivol (born June 1, 1882, Ialoveni - July 3, 1940, Chisinau) was a Bessarabian politician, member of the Sfatul Tarii between 1917–1918, and Mayor of Chisinau in two terms between 1923-1924 and 1925-1926.

Biography

In 1902, Nicolae Bivol graduated from Chisinau Theological Seminary, where one of his classmates was Teodor Neaga. Then he studied at University of Dorpat. Nicolae Bivol was a businessman and served as mayor of Chisinau. In 1935, Bivol edited Viata Noastra in Chisinau.
