Pageantry
Powell was crowned Miss Utah USA 2015. During the pageant she also won the Miss Photogenic award. She represented Utah at Miss USA 2015 where she failed to place the semifinals.
Personal life
Nicol Powell is the younger sister of Miss Utah USA 2013, Marissa Powell She began modeling at the age of 14, signing with an L.A. agency at 16. She is a singer/songwriter and was in a group with her sister for many years.
She is a volleyball player- receiving a First Team All-State Award her senior year at Skyline High school and was the 4A MVP for the state of Utah in 2011.
Nicol is the Ambassador for Healing Hands for Haiti, a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering rehabilitation medicine to adults and children with physical disabilities in Haiti.
She is an advocate for Adoption-Share, an online site designed to promote communication within the adoption community and assist in the journey of adoption. Her little brother was adopted as well as her father and her brother-in-law.
Powell is currently a model and is represented by the About McCarty Talent Agency of Utah.
