For the second part of 2011, Blandi returns to Boca Juniors. Although at first was not to be taken into account by the coach Julio César Falcioni, the player decides to stay and ends up being the preference of the coach, who is chosen over Gaona Lugo, Pablo Mouche and Sergio Araujo and even to enter the final minutes parties and as natural replacement Lucas Viatri. Following severe injury Viatri in the first half against Belgrano, Blandi played the entire second half but could not score goals. After a week of much criticism towards him, Blandi debuted as a starter on October 25, 2011, against Colón de Santa Fe scoring two goals to beat Colón. In his second career game as a starter he scored another two goals in the victory by 3-1 against Atlético de Rafaela in the Torneo Apertura 2011.
