Sir Nicholas Dodd Beatson-Bell KCSI KCIE (circa 1868 – March 1936) was a British colonial administrator and civil servant.

He was born in Aberdour, Scotland. He served in the Indian Civil Service. On 7 December 1914 he was made a member of the Council of the Governor of Bengal. In 1918 he was made Chief Commissioner of Assam, and became the first Governor of Assam on 3 January 1921. He was succeeded by William Sinclair Marris three months later. He was made a Knight Commander of the Order of the Indian Empire in the 1919 New Year Honours and a Knight Commander of the Order of the Star of India in the 1921 New Year Honours.

Beatson-Bell married Jeannie Arbuthnott, daughter of John Campbell Arbuthnott and Jeannie Sinclair Hamilton, in Shillong on 21 November 1911. Together they had two children.
