The Newcastle University Theatre Society or NUTS, is the student-run theatre society at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom. It is one of the largest student theatre societies in the country.

Every year the society puts on 12 shows, a drama festival showcasing new student writings and takes a show to the Edinburgh Fringe each year. In the summer of 2014 the society appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a play written by Max Elton, Big Brother Blitzkrieg, which had a sell out run.

The Society is run by an executive committee made up of 8 positions: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Marketing Director, Venue Manager, Technical Manager, Social Secretary and Musical Director.
