New Friends Colony is one of the affluent and posh neighborhoods in South Delhi. NFC consists of A,B,C ,D Blocks. D block Community Centre is the main market here which has a Cineplex (Reels) and Five Star Hotel (The Suryaa) as part of the complex. A multi-level parking lot is also scheduled to open nearby soon. The areas has a large number of international chain restaurants, as well as local Indian chains and other Indian, Chinese and Thai restaurants and various coffee shops. This market has few dhabas as well serving street food ranging from kebabs to shawarmas and everything else that fits into a small pocket.
