History

In 1999, they went on tour with the British Rock Symphony. The tour was organized by producer David Fishoff and launched at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 28 June 1999. After appearing at several venues in the UK, the tour continued in Europe and the United States.

In 2001, Catherine and Nikki founded their record label Lock Stock and Barrel Records, shunning the major labels and choosing to self-release several successful albums, beginning with a collection of demos entitled While U Wait Vol. 1, and later moving on to release Surprise, Licensed To Bitch and Vancouver 97. The band sells directly to their diverse international fan base whilst retaining full artistic control.
In September 2004 they recorded a concert at ULU with sisters Tara McDonald & Anna McDonald on backing vocals, released as a CD album Live At ULU and a DVD For Richer For Poorer - Live And On The Road which also included revealing and often hilarious documentary footage from the European tour earlier the same year.
In 2005, one of their songs, "The Living Tree", was recorded by Shirley Bassey and reached #37 on the UK Singles Chart when released in April 2007. Nikki and Catherine produced Bassey's album, Get the Party Started, which peaked at #6 on the UK Albums Chart and a remix of "Get the Party Started" by Chris Cox climbed to number 3 on the Billboard Dance Chart.
