Netrunner is a free operating system for Intel and AMD based desktop computers, laptops, netbooks and arm microcomputers like the Odroid C1. It comes in two versions: Netrunner Desktop and Netrunner Core. Both versions feature recent versions of Qt, KDE Plasma and Frameworks on top of Debian, with the Desktop version shipping extra applications, multimedia codecs, Flash and Java plugins. The former Kubuntu based version of Netrunner has been superseeded by Maui Linux, which is now based on KDE Neon.

Overview
Blue Systems, the company that sponsored Kubuntu, offers Netrunner as a desktop system for everyday use based on Plasma Desktop by KDE. It targets new users as well as users experienced with Linux. Plasma Desktop allows for easy customization of the desktop to ones personal liking. Netrunner is further meant for users that want an operating system that works "out-of-the-box", reducing the time to add codecs and essential enhancements manually after installation.
Netrunner Desktop is only available as 64-bit version, while Netrunner Core is available as 64-bit and also Odroid C1 ARM Image.
