Nelson - After the Rain
Early life
Chris and Justin grew up in New South Wales. The two brothers debuted their comedy act in 2006, finding local success quickly when they went and reached the 2006 grand finals of the city of Melbourne’s distinguished Angling for a Laugh comedy store competition with a grand performance which was designed to draw on their very own personal experiences, growing up in their time and as identical twins.
Charity and Community Work
In addition to their stand-up comedy sporting career, the Nelson Twins are also secondary school teachers and have developed an educational program focusing on building courage, confidence, connection, creative thinking and communication skills for youth in schools. By engaging students through humour and encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone, the ‘Stand Up And Be Counted’ program aims to develop students’ assertiveness and public speaking skills. These included the Breakfast sessions.
