Neil Hudson (Born 24 January 1957) is an English former professional motocross racer. He won the 1981 250cc Motocross World Championship.

Biography

Hudson was born in Pensford, Somerset. In 1979, Hudson finished second to Håkan Carlquist in the 250cc motocross world championship riding a Maico. He won the F.I.M. 250cc motocross world champion in 1981 as a member of the Yamaha factory racing team. He was the first British rider to win a 250cc motocross championship. He moved up to the 500cc class in 1982 and finished the season in third place behind Brad Lackey and André Vromas.
