Ne dirajte mi ravnicu was the first album of Croatian singer Miroslav Škoro. It was released in 1992. The album produced a hit song of the same name. Ne dirajte mi ravnicu translates as "Do not touch my plain", which was particularly poignant during the Croatian War of Independence. This helped propel the song as well as Škoro himself to the top of the charts. Also the most famous of Slavonia'sTamburica band Zlatni Dukati (now Najbolji hrvatski tamburaši), makes an own version of the song. The phrases itself became quite idiomatic, expressing a typical form of Slavonia's yeomen-based pride and patriotism and can also be found in modern songs of several other authors coming from that region.
