Music
In 2004, Jones was named Artist Of The Year at the annual Musicoz Awards, which led him to record his 2006 debut album 10 Letters at Australia's Sony Music Studios. A music video was made for the track "Day After Day", filmed in Kiama New South Wales, featuring a grand piano placed in the middle of a seaside quarry. The video received airplay on Foxtel, and the track went on to become the 'Hot Pick' in the inaugural Pacific Songwriting Competition. In early 2008 the album '10 Letters' was repackaged and remixed as a 5 track EP titled 'The Way I'm Missing You', and became available worldwide through the iTunes Store.
Voice over career
Jones has worked as a voice over artist on Australian TV and radio commercials, including campaigns for Hungry Jack's (Burger King), Mitsubishi Motors and Jamster. He is the promo voice on Australian free-to-air digital television channel Eleven, as well as subscription television channels Nickelodeon Australia and MTV Australia. He is represented by Sydney based voice over agency RMK Voices.
Other projects
Jones composed and arranged the music for 'Centrelink The Musical', which made its debut at the 2008 Adelaide Fringe Festival. He also co-wrote the single 'Pick It Up' for American Idol Season 5 semi-finalist Ayla Brown, which was performed live on American breakfast TV show Fox & Friends on 15 February 2010.
In 2011, Jones arranged and produced a remake of "That What Friends Are For", featuring Alan Cumming, David Raleigh, Billy Porter and Ari Gold.
