She was born in Guayaquil, Arroba speaks Spanish, English, Portuguese and French. She graduated with a Hotel and Turism degree from the UEES.

Arroba, who stands 1.77 m (5 ft 9 1⁄2 in) tall, competed as a representative of Guayas, one of the 15 contestants in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Ecuador 2013, broadcast live on March 8, 2013 from Guayaquil, where she gained the right to represent Ecuador at Miss International 2013.
