Nash Format (« Наш Формат ») is a publishing house based in Kyiv, Ukraine. First formed in 2006, Nash Format operates in almost all segments of the Ukrainian book market and publishes prose fiction, memoirs, essays, business and worldview literature. The main activity of its current publication format is worldview literature — from business bestsellers to artistic projects designed to form a new Ukrainian elite, changing the thinking and scale of readership. The company also provides a number of other cultural projects designed to create new ideas, meanings, values and projects — making Ukrainian cultural revolution at the forefront of thoughts and expressions, turning ideas into reality. CREDO: “We believe in social capital. Powerful and free thinking minds are our mainstay. The Nash Format have issued in Ukrainian: “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand, The most influential trilogy of coming of age literature; “Long Walk to Freedom” by Nelson Mandela; “Brain Rules for Baby” The bestseller of a developmental molecular biologist John Medina; “Zero to One: Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future” by Peter Thiel; “Contagious: Why Things Catch On” by Jonah Berger; “Why evolution is true” by Jerry Coyne; “Rethinking Positive Thinking: Inside the New Science of Motivation” by Gabriele Oettingen amongst other useful books.
The first books of Nash Format were published in cooperation with our partner publishing houses, in particular, Lee Kuan Yew’ memoirs “Singapore Story: From Third World to First” (2011). The publisher has been actively developing publications since the end of 2012.
The Publishing House issued a series of books by the historian Volodymyr Viatrovych “History stamped secrecy”(2012; 2013). The latest editions of historic topic have been — the scientific analysis by Oleksander Ghogun “Stalin Commandos” (2014), an essay by Yuriy Felshtynskyy and Mykhaylo Stanchev “Third World: Battle for Ukraine” (2015).
The most popular amongst Ukrainians won the bestseller of nationwide artistic and cultural project of Antin Muharsky “Swindlerology” Zhlobologia(2013, 2015), which described the phenomenon of “swindling” by scandalous, famous artists and scientists.
Since 2014 the publishing house began work on a series of the world best sellers, translated into Ukrainian. The first edition of this series was the book “Great By Choice” (2014) by the American business consultant Jim Collins, afterwards — “My life and work” by Henry Ford.
For each paperback or hard copy of book the company also publishes electronic, soft versions that can be purchased on the following sites: nashformat.ua, smart.kyivstar.ua, store.obreey.com.
Music label "Nash Format" and audiobooks recording
Nash Format, a first in Ukraine, has started to produce Ukrainian-language audio books. Nash Format has issued more than 200 audio books — of both world and Ukrainian literature. These are included in the tutorial programs for national schools educating in Ukrainian language. Nash Format is the sole owner of Ukrainian sound audio books, issued in compliance with copyright and related rights, and all the requirements of current legislation of Ukraine, as well as using the internationally recognised holographic security elements (licensed brand) applied to all their products.
The best Ukrainian actors such as Adah Rogovtseva, Natalia Sumska, Petro Panchuk, Boris Loboda and other famous theater and cinema actors participated in recording the audiobooks. Recording studio — the only Ukrainian saund production studio that specializes in audio books recording.

Nash Format is organizing in its own club at Kyiv, Belinsky lane, 5 hosting a wide range of talks and meetings with famous writers and public figures, creative workshops, and musical concerts with Ukrainian bands.

The Smithy project
The Smithy is created in the picturesque village of Unizh near Ivano-Frankivsk which is an area for all, for whom Ukraine is not only a territory for, but also a place of, performance art.
The festival of the Ukrainian music and art Unizh first took place in summer 2008, with a few thousand people in attendance. The best representatives of Ukrainian alternative music were on stage, and the guests saw over ten performances alongside other cultural and art events.
