Professor Naresh Dadhich is retd. Professor of Political Science from Rajasthan University,Jaipur,India.He taught there from 1978-2016.He was Vice Chancellor of Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University at Kota, Rajasthan for two consecutive terms (2006-2013).Amongst many academic fellowships he is an awardee of Prestigious Pell Fellowship for Visiting Professorship in Salve Regina University,Rhode Island,USA. Prof. Dadhich He got his M.A. (first class) in Political Science from Rajasthan University in 1977 and joined the Department of Political Science, Rajasthan University in 1978 as an Assistant Professor where he became Associate Professor in 1991 and Professor in 2001 and retd.in 2016 He shouldered many administrative responsibilities in Rajasthan University including Head,Department of Political Science and Director,Center for Gandhian Studies.

A prolific writer, he has authored/edited 14 books,35 research articles/chapters in reputed journals/books and made several presentations in national and international seminars/conferences. He has written first book in Hindi on John Rawls’s theory of justice. As a creative writer he has published four books of Poetry, one of these, Sangyan Trayi is lyrical transformation in Hindi of Upanishads namely, Kath, Ishavasyo and Mandukya.He occasionally writes for newspapers and is a blogger. As a recognition of his eminence as an academician/educationist, he has to his credit Special Honors: First Indian Academician to be awarded Prestigious Pell Center Fellowship in Salve Regina University, Newport, Rhode Island, USA in 2005, First Indian Academician to be elected as the Convener of Peace Education Commission (PEC) of International Peace Research Association in 2002.Member of International Advisory Board, The Pell Center, Salve Regina University, Newport, Rhode Island, USA. Vice Chairman, Governing Board and Director of Institute of Development Studies, Jaipur. His name is included in Wikipedia’s 100 important Political Philosophers of 20th century. He was also a Member of Delegation of Peace led by late Ms. Nirmala Deshpande to Pakistan in 2008.He is founder President of Jaipur Peace Foundation and also Chairman of Vichar Vibhag,Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee.
